Hundreds of years in the future, chocolate has become extinct, Hyperloops have replaced cars, and wearable technology is the norm.

But nothing has changed more than humans themselves. Humanity has become multiracial and multicultural; people no longer identify themselves as White, Asian, Brown, or Black. 

Not everyone feels this new society is ideal, though. A select group has created their own colony—a pureblood cult complete with arranged marriages, heavily guarded borders, and a cabal. No one knows where they are until the leader’s granddaughter goes missing, and he hires a PI—a man of multiracial origin—to find her.
